The first day of the HSI:URBANO Conference explored some of the issues that are limiting the ability of Hispanic and underrepresented minorities to reach their full potential as STEM students, and to take their place in the workforce as STEM professional.  The second day explores solution sets that might address those issues.

The presenters will direct the conference’s attention to solution sets that will be discussed during the morning and explored more closely in breakout sessions in the afternoon. Each speaker brings a unique perspective on the importance of finding viable solutions, which they will share.
