CONFERENCE PURPOSE
The HSI:URBANO Conference will accomplish three objectives:
1. Identify challenges that may be contributing to the Gap between Hispanic representation in the population and in STEM education fields, with using the input of Academics, Government and Industry leaders;
2. Identify key potential interventions that might address the Gap, focusing on the areas of experiential learning and technology; and
3. Consolidate the information on contributing solutions to the Gap and to explore the potential of experiential learning and technological solution sets as possible remedies. The investigation will provide for future interventions and to guide large investments.
